Back again for 2003, eCityofStyle proudly presents the third annual Auto Style Awards, in which we pick the five most stylish autos for the current model year. Finalists are chosen after several factors are considered, such as exterior and interior style, fun-to-drive factor, exclusivity, and the all-important envy quotient. When we test drive our finalists, we want to see heads turn and passersby stop cold in their tracks. We take note of each occurrence, because, after all, the selection process is deeply rooted in the scientific method. Unabashed squeals of delight confer extra points. The selection was fiercely personal among the Style editors, but ultimately we managed to agree on the winners. Not surprisingly, we find three more über German cars among the Auto Style Award winners and another ultra luxurious British motorcar. There are two SUV's, two luxury sports sedans, and two luxury sports coupes. Despite their differences, all of our winners are simply fabulous. Please enjoy.
