When AM General first teamed up with General Motors to distribute the massive H1 to the defenseless public, it was only a matter of time before a more "civilized" version of the tough military vehicle would follow. Whereas the H1's design is utterly unapologetic, the H2 was built to attract buyers with Schwarzenegger fantasies but minivan sensibilities. Don't be fooled though, the H2 is decidedly an off-road vehicle first, and an on-road vehicle second, despite the mass-market attributes.
