Fiat's long-awaited return to US shores is finally here in the form of the stylish 500. Known as the Cinquecento in Europe, changes to the American version are minimal and mostly unnoticeable to help it pass strict US safety standards. That's good news for those with style sensibilities favoring the Italian.
Also good news is how the Fiat performs. It's a potent entry in the fun to drive, small car segment with an overt retro flair. The driving dynamics are exactly what you'd expect from the way it looks. Inside, the retro theme continues without being too over the top. The optional white accents and Bose sound system are nice contrasts adding to the 500's character.
At launch Fiat is offering 14 different exterior and interior colors, plus 50 or more accessories to really personalize your 500.
